Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1524.06 crore), Tata Elxsi(Rs. 1519.95 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1476.57 crore), TCS(Rs. 1189.10 crore), HUL(Rs. 1055.90 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1018.92 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1015.26 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 969.69 crore), Bajaj Finserv(Rs. 923.84 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 909.54 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 139.85 points down at 17617.15, while BSE Sensex fell 427.44 points to 59037.18.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 3.36 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.81 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.91 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.50 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 5.35 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 4.40 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 3.97 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.82 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.47 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
