Ola Electric on Thursday tweeted that the company will be opening the final payment window for al customers who had already paid Rs 20,000 for its electric scooters by Friday evening.
Ola Electric will be dispatching the latest purchase in January and February. The company last month said that it dispatched its electric scooters to all who have purchased them in the previous round.
The company had postponed the delivery timelines for its electric scooters S1 & S1 Pro which are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999, citing the global semiconductor shortage issue.
The online purchase process began in September 2021 and Ola Chairman and Group Executive Officer Bhavish Aggarwal had said that it sold scooters worth over Rs 600 crore on the first day of the sale. Ola had originally planned deliveries in October before pushing it over to November and eventually to the second half of December.
