The NSE Nifty index closed 181.4 points down at 17757.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 634.2 points at 59464.62.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 4.53 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 3.73 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.39 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty index closed 181.4 points down at 17757.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 634.2 points at 59464.62.
