Tata Power shares gain 0.04% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Company Ltd. traded at Rs 239.15 on BSE at 11:16AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.04 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 74.5 and a high of Rs 269.7.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 52.77 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 4.55 per share and 1.58 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 1,236,232 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:16AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 76704.13 crore and is part of the Power - Integrated industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 178.97 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 32.22 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 241.35 and Rs 236.35.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.86 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Tata Power Company Ltd. stood at 10.84 per cent and 4.48 per cent, respectively.
