ReutersNEW DELHI: Shares of Khandwala Sec, Precision Wires, Elgi Equipments, HSIL and Electrostl Cast, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 50.35 points to 18062.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as McDowell Hold, Spandana Sphoorty, IGL, Zydus Wellness and Dilip Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Coal India Ltd, Tata Steel, UPL and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tata Consumer and Wipro traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 197.02 points down at 60557.84 at 10:19AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Textiles, Sugar, Power, Fertilisers and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services, Hospitals & Allied Services, Auto Ancillaries and Building Materials sectors.
