André Leon Talley has died, according to several reports. The 73-year-old fashion icon served as creative director for Vogue for seven years before running the magazine with Anna Wintour as editor-at-large.

As a longtime judge on “America’s Next Top Model,” beginning in 2010, his wit and style were introduced to a wider audience, including the show’s many younger fans.

Tributes for Talley poured in from mainstays in the fashion industry along with fans from around the world. “No one was more soulful and grander than you were,” wrote iconic designer Diane von Furstenberg.
