    Xpressbees headed to unicorn club, in talks for $300 million

    Synopsis

    Xpressbees will raise $100 million by offering fresh shares, where the proceeds will go into the company’s coffers, the people said. Some of its early backers are selling part of their stake to raise the remaining $200 million.

    Mumbai: Xpressbees, the new-age logistics services provider from the Firstcry stable, is in advanced talks with private equity funds led by Blackstone to raise $300 million (Rs 2,232 crore). Other PE funds likely participating in the new funding round include ChrysCapital and TPG Capital, four people with direct knowledge of the matter said.
