(File)India Open 2022 Final Badminton Live Score, Live Updates: India’s Lakshya Sen secured his maiden Super 500 title by winning the Yonex-Sunrise India Open with a stunning straight-game victory over reigning world champion Loh Kean Yew of Singapore in the men’s singles final here on Sunday. The 20-year-old Sen, who had claimed his maiden world championships medal with a bronze in Spain last month, produced a fine performance to outshine the fifth seeded shuttler 24-22 21-17 in the summit clash that lasted 54 minutes.
In the doubles final, top doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty scripted a stunning straight-game win over three-time world champions Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan of Indonesia to become the first men’s team from the country to win the Yonex-Sunrise India Open.
The world no 10 Indian pair, which had won its first Super 500 tournament in Thailand in 2019, upset the top seeded Indonesian pair 21-16 26-24 in 43 minutes to make a rampaging start to the new season.

That's it. Lakshya Sen has done it. He has won the men's final beating the reigning champion in straight games.
Lakshya keeps a healthy distance from the world champion. There is another delay as his injured finger is taken a look at.
Lakshya draws level, before they both trade a series of points, neither allowing the other to get into any sort of rythm. Loh Kean Yew has the entire court and all the time in the world to get a smash right to get us level at 9-9 but somehow hits the net!
Sen hits a shot to the back of the court making Loh run towards the shuttle but not succeeding.

Sen's smash too strong for Loh Kean Yew and the Indian gets his first game point. Back to 21-21. Another shot goes long from Loh to give Lakshya a second game point at 23-22. What a wildly swinging first game. And it's the Indian who wins the first game 24-22.
Slow to start, the world champion is finding his way more and more into the match. A 37-shot rally - the longest of this match so far - goes Lakshya's way though.

The drama just does not stop. Just as we thought the Indian pair had run away with the match, the Indonesian pair fought back. The Indonesians bring up the first game point. Saved. There's a second game point for them. And the Indians save a second game point to get us to 21-21! Satwik hits one wide! Agonizing! A third game point for the Daddies. Saved! Satwik makes up for his error with a smash down the centre line!
It's now 22-22. What a match!!
Satwik runs off to change his racquet mid-rally, leaving Chirag to man the whole court and then Chirag smashes and draws it level at 10-10. Rally of the match!
The Indian pair attack at the net and the Indonesian masters are trying to hold them off. But the results are the same as the first game.
And that's it. Satwik/Chirag has taken game. The Indonesians look to defend but the barrage of attacking shots from Satwik and Chirag break through it. They win the first game 21-16
The Indian pair head into the break 2 points ahead. The Indians grab a quick couple of points after the break as well. Satwik/Chirag lead 8-7.
