Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks mixed as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading mixed on Thursday at 10:24AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 4.40%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.01%), Sikko Industries(up 1.48%), KRISHANA(up 1.45%), Coromandel International(up 0.57%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.55%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.19%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.17%) and G S F C(up 0.08%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.70%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.57%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.09%), Aries Agro(down 0.97%), Agro Phos(down 0.80%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.51%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.46%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.40%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.18%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.09%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 0.15 points up at 18212.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 14.17 points at 61135.87 at around 10:24AM.

Tata Steel(up 4.61%), Coal India(up 3.36%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 3.22%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.95%), JSW Steel(up 2.85%), Cipla(up 2.07%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.53%), UPL Ltd(up 1.29%), NTPC(up 1.01%) and Tech Mahindra(up 0.84%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Wipro(down 5.39%), Tata Motors(down 2.02%), HDFC Bank(down 1.39%), Shree Cement(down 1.25%), HCL Technologies(down 0.95%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.91%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.87%), Axis Bank(down 0.86%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.82%) and Maruti Suzuki(down 0.81%) were trading in the red.
