CBI Arrests DSIIDC Sr Official, Private Person For Accepting Bribe Of Rs 1.70 Lakh

The CBI identified the DSIIDC senior manager as S K Singh and a private middleman as Subhash who accepted bribe in return for ignoring land encroachment by a businessman

The CBI  (Central Bureau of Investigation) arrested a senior manager of Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSllDC) Ltd. and a private person for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1.70 lakh in return for ignoring land encroachment by a businessman.

The CBI identified the DSIIDC senior manager as S K Singh and a private middleman as Subhash. 

The businessman filed a complaint with the CBI that he runs a business for manufacturing cream separator machine from a shed in Mangolpuri in Delhi which was allotted to him by DSllDC.  

The complainant claimed that the Singh demanded bribe for not sealing his shed on the count of alleged encroachment and directed the complainant to deliver it to a private person in Karol Bagh, New Delhi.

The CBI did a verification where allegations were proved true after which a trap was laid by the CBI officials in Karol Bagh.

The officials added that Singh and Subhash were caught red handed accepting the bribe  The CBI is conducting searches at the premises of the accused in Delhi to ascertain disproportionate assets.
