Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: JP Power(Rs. 125.83 crore), TCS(Rs. 95.33 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 94.67 crore), PayTM(Rs. 72.82 crore), SBI(Rs. 69.73 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 62.26 crore), KPIT Tech(Rs. 58.11 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 54.12 crore), Greaves Cotton(Rs. 52.79 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 45.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 190.6 points up at 18003.3, while BSE Sensex rose 650.98 points to 60395.63.

In the Nifty index, UPL Ltd.(up 4.14 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.30 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 3.16 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.67 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
