AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Natural Capsule(PP)(149.05%), KIFS Financial(20.0%), GRP Ltd(20.0%), Tranway Technologies(20.0%), Narendra Prop(20.0%), Anjani Synth(19.88%), Shreyans Ind(19.68%), CSL Finance (19.15%), Talbros Auto(18.4%) and Phyto Chem(15.62%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 367.22 points up at 60223.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 120.0 points up at 17925.25.
In the Nifty50 index, 34 stocks closed in the green, while 16 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Natural Capsule(PP), KIFS Financial, GRP Ltd, Narendra Prop and Talbros Auto hit their fresh 52-week high, while Janus Corporation, Valiant Comm, IITL Projects, Mas Fin Services and Star Health touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
