Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1959.41 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1553.35 crore), RIL(Rs. 1319.59 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1299.48 crore), Au Small Fin Bank(Rs. 1210.94 crore), SBI(Rs. 1208.78 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1114.30 crore), Bajaj Finserv(Rs. 1081.10 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1001.82 crore) and Axis Bank(Rs. 816.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 120.0 points up at 17925.25, while BSE Sensex rose 367.22 points to 60223.15.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 4.98 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.46 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 3.75 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.59 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.25 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.92 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.87 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
