The NSE Nifty index closed 179.55 points up at 17805.25, while BSE Sensex ended up 672.71 points at 59855.93.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent) and Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty index closed 179.55 points up at 17805.25, while BSE Sensex ended up 672.71 points at 59855.93.
