Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
KIFS Financial(up 20.0%), Indo Rama Synth(up 20.0%), AK Spintex L(up 20.0%), Sacheta Metals(up 19.83%), ARSS Infra(up 17.96%) and Mirza Intnl(up 17.03%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 381.27 points up at 59564.49, while the 50-share index, NSE was 104.5 points up at 17730.2.
In the Nifty50 index, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Indo Rama Synth, KIFS Financial, AK Spintex L, Sacheta Metals and ARSS Infra hit their fresh 52-week high, while Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd. and Janus Corporation touched their new 52-week low during the session.
