Chola Inv Finance shares gain 2.01% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 530.85 on BSE at 10:25AM (IST) on Monday, up 2.01 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 380.0 and a high of Rs 667.5.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 26.79 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 19.42 per share and 4.78 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 15,219 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:25AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 42709.04 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 28.97 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 29.09 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 531.7 and Rs 519.6.

Promoters held 51.57 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2021. FII and MF ownership in Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. stood at 17.88 per cent and 18.21 per cent, respectively.
