Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 738.49 crore), TCS(Rs. 333.35 crore), RBL Bank(Rs. 271.30 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 226.54 crore), Eicher Motors(Rs. 200.61 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 182.76 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 180.96 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 178.71 crore), SBI(Rs. 157.89 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 155.55 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 151.4 points up at 17505.45, while BSE Sensex was up 533.18 points at 58787.0 as of 10:24AM(IST)on January 03.

In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 3.20 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) were among the top losers.
