
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.
Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 3.07 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.04 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.7 per cent), DLF(up 1.1 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.76 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 0.92 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.48 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.14 per cent up at 489.65.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 271.65 points at 17625.7, while the BSE Sensex stood up 929.4 points at 59183.22.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 ended in the green, while 6 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, RBL Bank, GMR Infra and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Arihant Capital, T T Ltd, ARSS Infra, Shree Rama Multi and Oriental Hotels hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Felix Industries, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., A and M Jumbo Bags L, Shri Ram Switchgears and HEC Infra Projects hit their fresh 52-week lows.
