As I watched the movie '83, it took me back to the day when India achieved the impossible- Winning the Cricket World Cup. A turning point in many ways, it gave cricket, country and a generation a booster shot of belief and ambition.
Cricket which up until then, in India, relied on the prowess of our batsman and spinners quickly transitioned into a nursery of fast bowlers. The right infrastructure at grass roots levels slowly and surely pace started to produce world class fast bowlers, powered by an ecosystem and ambition to dominate the world cricket.
Similarly, we have lived with the idea of becoming an economic superpower…we are on our path but maybe not fast enough.
MSME’s in India present a massive opportunity to be able to catapult us to the forefront of world economy, as long as we are able to adequately nurture them and fuel their ambitions.
@ U GRO I have always told my team, we are going thru a 5-day match played with the agility and mentality of a T20 With Technology being our new engine, our programs and products will always continue to fulfill the ' solve the unsolved' last mile.
We have been playing our long innings since 2019, over period of last 4 years we have supported more than 15000 small businesses, disbursed more than Rs. 4000 Crores and have an outstanding book of Rs. 2500 Crores. Like our Indian team we had great support of Banks & Financial Institution and today more than 50 lenders provide us our batting wicket and our Co – Lending partners like State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank & IDBI are playing with us to achieve our mission of 1 million customers and 1% market share.
Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India have triggered a movement, we need to be catalysts for this transformational shift and make the impossible possible just like in ’83 world cup.
Armed with this ambition and belief, our journey to change the lives of MSME is on.
Wish you a very safe and glorious 2022.
