Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 1626.35 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 905.99 crore), TCS(Rs. 893.28 crore), RBL Bank(Rs. 891.64 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 730.60 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 683.73 crore), Eicher Motors(Rs. 664.55 crore), Infosys(Rs. 634.23 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 614.35 crore) and SBI(Rs. 613.14 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 271.65 points up at 17625.7, while BSE Sensex rose 929.4 points to 59183.22.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 6.33 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 4.90 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.51 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 3.47 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 3.32 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
