Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 09:59AM

Bohra Industries(up 4.35%), Sikko Industries(up 2.27%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.59%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.31%), National Fertilizer(up 1.18%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.18%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.16%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.88%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.52%) and Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.45%) were among the top gainers.

G S F C(down 1.11%), Coromandel International(down 0.37%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.37%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.35%), Aries Agro(down 0.21%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.17%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 33.0 points up at 17266.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 134.97 points at 58032.45 at around 09:59AM.

IndusInd Bank(up 1.93%), ICICI Bank(up 1.06%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.04%), Cipla(up 0.87%), HCL Technologies(up 0.71%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.64%), Titan Company Ltd(up 0.59%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.48%), SBI Life(up 0.44%) and Reliance Industries(up 0.42%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Steel(down 0.98%), JSW Steel(down 0.97%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.78%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.75%), Coal India(down 0.57%), ITC(down 0.48%), Shree Cement(down 0.31%), HDFC Bank(down 0.24%), NTPC(down 0.24%) and Indian Oil Corporation(down 0.22%) were trading in the red.
