Bpr, December 26 2021: Huidrom Sunita, who participated in the 26th Senior Women's National Football Championship, as part of champion Manipur team, as well as players and officials of KLASA FC who secured the runners-up title of the Shirui Cap football tournament were felicitated by KLASA FC, Keinou at its ground on Sunday.

The felicitation function was attended by Oinam AC MLA Laishram Radhakishore, KLASA FC president Y Norton Singh, DSA Bishnupur president L Naba Singh, KLASA FC coach M Deben Singh, found of Regular Coaching Centre, Keinou S Robichandra and sports enthusiasts among others.

Speaking at the function, MLA Radhakishore noted that apart from art and culture Manipur is known to the world owing to the prowess of its sportspersons.

If one is sincere in their works, they can succeed in their respective chosen fields.

The progression in sports is because of the youth of the state, he added.
