Imphal, December 25 2021: A public rally was carried out today at Hiyangthang in support of Soraisam ongbi Kebi, the intending candidate from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency in the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election.

The rally which was also attended by S Kebi started from an area near Hiyangthang bridge and passed through Hiyangthang Lairembi shrine and went on to nearby localities.

Speaking on the sidelines, secretary of Hiyangthang Election Committee, Huirem Joy said that the rally has been organised in support of S Kebi without any propaganda or wrong intentions.

Further he maintained that the help extended by S Kebi to the locals of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, van drivers, ASHA workers, students studying outside the State during the difficult times of COVID-19 is highly commendable and all should be grateful for such philanthropic activities.

S Kebi also asserted she has decided to contest elections by carrying out activities in the interest of the people earnestly rather than making false claims verbally.
