Imphal, December 25 2021: In continuation of the ongoing political conferences of Gram Panchayat under Lamlai AC including Lamlai Municipal area and surrounding hill areas, a one-day political conference for Mahila members of Takhel GP area was held at Sanjenbam Khunou community hall on Saturday.

In all, 1000 Manila members attended the conference.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ksh Biren explained about central schemes such as Ujjwala Yojana and Ayushman Bharat and also about schemes introduced by the state government including CMHT, Chief Ministergi Sotharabasingi Tengbang.

The MLA then commented on the frequent occurrence of drought in Lamlai AC and stressed the need for harvesting the benefit of Thou-bal Project.

Once the project is handed over to the state government, there will be no shortage of drinking water, he assured.

He also informed that around 3000 households in the AC have pasted BJP stickers and erected flags, while around 2500 will soon follow suit.
