Imphal, December 24 2021: The state government has informed that as per the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway guidelines, no advertisement hoardings are permitted along National Highways within the Right of Way except information signs of public interest.

In a statement, PWD Manipur National Highways Division No 1 executive engineer advised all concerned to remove all advertisement hoardings along NH-02 (Mao-Imphal) and NH-137A (Imphal-Kakching Lamkhai section, IMI road) so as to ensure safety of the traffic users.
