CCpur, December 23 2021: One Nehkhohau, who is prime suspect in the murder case of Pumzalian Ngaihte, son of S Ginlang of Khominthang, Churachandpur has been arrested by a team of Singhat police from the outskirt of Churachandpur on Thursday.

Nehkhohau (28) son of late Laltinkhum of Valpakot village, Churachandpur was even declared wanted by Singhat police pertaining to the FIR No 13(12) 2021 SGT-PS u/s 302 IPC.

After intense search and surveillance led by SI Haolensang of Singhat PS and inspector Rommel Gangte OC Singhat PS under the guidance of additional SP (LO/OPs) and under the overall supervision of SP Churachandpur, fugitive Nehkhohau was arrested at about 10.30 am from a location near Churachandpur town.

The reward amounting Rs 20,000 will be handed over to Singhat PS, a statement of SP Churachandpur said and thanked CSOs for their unstinted cooperation and support in arresting the accused.
