Imphal, December 23 2021: With the objective of reducing the number of traffic accidents and congestion in the capital city, integrated traffic management system has been installed in around 15 key spots on Thursday.

Traffic Control Wing SP Ajitkumar informed that the traffic system installed by Bharat Electronics Limited in association with traffic police will aid in the movement ot people and alleviate the issues of traffic signals previously faced by traffic control police.

He then appealed to the people to follow the new system and traffic laws while on road.

The integrated system has been installed at Chingmeirong, Sagolband, LIC/PWD junction, Pishumthong, Keishamthong, Sangaiprou Regular road junction, Kongba Soudongpung, Sangakpam, Keishampat, Singjamei Chingamakha, GPO Babupara, Rajbhavan junction, Kwakeithel, Kangla Western Gate junction and North AOC.
