Bishnupur, December 23 2021: Bishnupur District Rowing Association on Thursday felicitated the medallists of the All India 41 Jr National Rowing Championship 2021 held at Army Rowing Node, Pune from December 8-13 .

The Association presented the medallists with simple gifts during a reception function held at Takmu Water Sports Complex, Moirang.

The athletes included Thangjam Priya Devi from Moirang Ngangkhalawai Maning Leikai and Haobijam Tendenthoi Devi from Moirangkhunou Chandpur (Gold); Huidrom Malemyaima from Wabagai Lamkhai; and Oinam Bharati Devi from Thanga Ngaram Leikai (Silver) .

Later, M Ashnikumar, president Bishnupur District Canoeing and Kayaking Association, presented the gold medallists with a cash prize of Rs 5000 each, the silver medallists with Rs 3000 each and other participants received a cash award of Rs 2000 .

The event was attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson and Chairman, MDS Government of Manipur, M Ashnikumar; former president Bishnupur District Canoeing and Kayaking Association, M Lokendro; O Ibojao, vice president Manipur State Panchayat Parishad and M Ibohal, advisor, Bishnupur District Canoeing and Kayaking Association.
