The wait for upcoming smartphone from the tech giant OnePlus is finally over as the company CEO has revealed the launch date of the upcoming flagship phone OnePlus 10 Pro.
The new smartphone will launch in January next year. According to reports, OnePlus is planning to a physical launch event at CES 2022 in Las Vegas on January 5 where we tech enthusiasts may get to see OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro.
It is also speculated that the company may also announce the vanilla 10 model alongside.
On Tuesday, the CEO and co-founder of OnePlus, Pete Lau, stated the launch date of the brand's upcoming smartphone 10 Pro.
The tech company will reveal the pricing and availability details of the OnePlus 10 Pro at the time of the launch. But going by its specifications, it could be priced above Rs 50,000.
What to expect
The OnePlus 10 Pro will flaunt Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and an improved selfie camera of 32-megapixel.
According to previous reports, most of the specs in the new smartphone will be identical to the OnePlus 9 Pro.
The 10 Pro will boost 12GB of LPDDR5 Ram and will come with either 128GB or 256GB storage space along with triple camera system which will show off similar setup as the 9 Pro.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is also tipped to flaunt a 48MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide, and an 8MP 3.3X telephoto camera in its triple-camera setup. The display will have a punch-hole cut for selfie camera and most likely flaunt a 6.7-inch LPTO QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Reports also suggest that the smartphone will have a 5,000 mAh battery which will support 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
