Tata Xenon is one of the few pickup trucks available in India. The Xenon has also been discontinued for regular consumers but is still in production for the army. The Mahindra Marksman was India's first ALSV (Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle). It is made bulletproof to provide protection against grenade attacks and light firearms. Besides army, it is also used by the police force and paramilitary in India for counter-terrorist operations as well as conventional roles. It was unveiled in 2020 and can carry 4 passengers.
