Kangpokpi, December 19 2021: Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen distributed ration cards, health cards and old age pension to people of Thaldara, a Gorkha village in Irang Part II in Kangpokpi AC today.

Nemcha Kipgen distributed the ration cards and health cards while attending the inaugural programme of the 'Entire Irang Part-I and Part-II Knockout Football Tournament' along with BP Vikas Basnet, former ADC Sadar Hills Executive Member; Namchanbou Newmai, chairman of Tapon Naga; Ram Bahadur Karki, ex Goan Bura; Tingnei Lhouvum, president BJP Kangpokpi Mandal; Milan Pradhan, former ADC Saadar Hills Member and John Thangal, secretary BJP Kangpokpi Mandal amongst other.

Speaking at the programme, the MLA said the Chawangkining to Makui Asang road once used to have only a bullock cart road, but now a motorable road has been developed thereby connecting the area to the rest of the State.

She added that she believes in keeping promises and delivering the things she had promised to the people.

She also added that she expects similar support from the people of the AC.

After interacting with the players, Nemcha Kipgen open the tournament by kicking the football.

The opening friendly match was played between Haspokhri FC and Thaldara FC.

Thaldara FC registered a 2-0 win over Haspokhri FC .
