Pragati Mehra believes that love is a feeling, and people need romantic love at all stages of life. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai says, “Love is not an idea. It’s a feeling that grows over time. Love is when you disagree, but still hold hands. Having said that one needs romantic love at all stages of life. The definition of love doesn’t change much though the expression of it does change in different stages of life. So, let’s not glorify it. It’s one spectrum and it’s necessary, but not having romantic love isn’t something that ends everything.”

Talking about finding love on social media, she said, “Real and fake always existed, but earlier it was tough to discover what’s unreal. Now, it’s easier. One can also say there are too many options. It has also opened avenues to meet more people unlike before, so no social media isn’t the culprit, it’s humans.”
