Cape Town City FC attacking midfielder Surprise Ralani is reportedly set to join Mamelodi Sundowns in the January transfer window.
According to Soccer Laduma, the 34-year-old has agreed on terms with Sundowns, who have already paid the signing fees to City.
The experienced midfielder has been signed to add more attacking options to the Brazilians in the second half of the season.
A Soccer Laduma source confirms that the deal has been kept quiet but City was already looking for a Ralani replacement.
"Yes, this deal has been kept under wraps for a while. But Surprise Ralani is joining Mamelodi Sundowns in January and City are already looking for a replacement to cover them when the window opens," said a source.
Ralani has been a regular in the City team this season, with 16 appearances in all competitions, including two goals.
