'In my head I’m still that girl': Liberty Poole reflects on her journey from waitress to the Love Island star as she prepares for Dancing On Ice stint
She's gearing up to appear on primetime show Dancing On Ice.
And Liberty Poole, 21, took to some time out to reflect on her newfound fame after being thrust into the spotlight this summer on Love Island.
The former Nandos server revealed that deep down she is still that 'waitress' and 'student from Birmingham' in an Instagram post on Friday.

In the heartfelt post, Liberty penned: 'I’ve taken time to reflect on everything that’s happened since this picture was taken not long after I left the villa.
'This was first time in my life I’d ever had my hair and makeup done professionally. I remember being blown away by how talented the people in the industry were.'
As she showed her appreciation of her incredible journey over the last year she added: 'What a journey I’ve been on since then so grateful to of been given so many opportunities.'

Liberty continued: 'People always ask how do you feel and quite honestly in my head I’m still that girl that was a waitress for 5 years and a student from Birmingham with an accent that you can recognise from a mile away.'
She addressed to importance of remaining true to herself as she looks forward to taking on her next challenge.
'I felt like I’d been plucked out of thin air and all of a sudden I’m getting to do these incredible things. Every day I’m still learning but the key thing to remember is never to stop being yourself and that’s what I’ve stuck to.
She finished: 'This isn’t the typical instagram post but wanted to thank everyone that’s been following me on this journey and give a true insight into how I’m feeling now the years drawing to an end all love liberty, next adventure dancing on ice 2022.'

While attending the 2021 Pride Of Britain Awards Liberty told the Mirror she has got a lot of work to do before she can perform an elegant skating routine
She joked: 'I love skating, but I'm about as flexible as a wooden stick — so I need to improve on that.
Liberty, who used to skate during her childhood, said: 'I'm enjoying it and even though I know how to skate, you have to forget what you know and start all over again. Hopefully everything goes alright.'

Ahead of the series Liberty has already been tipped as a potential winner.
Liberty is set to star alongside Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid, rugby star Ben Foden, and popstar and actress Kimberly Wyatt.
While Paul Gascoigne’s son Regan Gascoigne, pop star Rachel Stevens, professional dancer Brendan Cole, presenter Ria Hebden, BMX Olympic silver medalist Kye Whyte and The Vamps' Connor Ball complete the cast.
