Orange Egypt signs sponsorship deal with Giza pyramid operator

Orange Egypt has signed a sponsorship agreement with Orascom Pyramids, which is in charge of developing, availing and operating visitor services at the Giza Pyramids Plateau. They aim to provide tourists with smart, integrated telecommunications and digital services at the site of archeological interest with a history of over 4,500 years. They plan to provide historical and guide information on visitors' mobile phones via Augmented Reality, as well as a smart vehicle parking system, digital signage panels, and an access control system to track employees.
