Ice explores alternative capital raising plans, to miss deadline to settle GoldenTree loan dispute

Ice Group has announced that it will not recapitalise under the parameters announced in November, following discussions with financial advisors and industrial investors. This means it will be unable to pay the settlement for the loan to subsidiary AINMT Holding to GoldenTree Asset Management by the due date at the end of the year. Ice now says it will explore alternatives and has since retained Lazard & Co.
