Veteran Wales and British & Irish Lions captain Alun Wyn Jones has picked former Springbok enforcer Bakkies Botha in his all-time Dream Pack of forwards.
In his new autobiography, 'Belonging', Jones said he was impressed by Botha's physicality.
"He (Botha) revelled in it, didn't he. Physically he has to be up there," Jones wrote.
"Let's just say he was able to keep the tradition going of the hardest of South African second rows. Bakkies was a big man, and he always hit hard."
Jones also picked former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw in his pack.
"I'm not comfortable with any of the comparisons with McCaw. He has two World Cups. I don't. I've got those holes in my CV. A legend."
Jones, 36, is the most capped rugby player in Test history with 161. He played 149 Tests for Wales and 12 for the Lions. McCaw is second on the list with 148.
Jones was the Lions captain during their 2-1 series loss in South Africa earlier this year. He made a miraculous recovery to be fit for the series after suffering a dislocated shoulder in a warm-up game against Japan just prior to the tour.
