PRIYANKA WRAPS UP ‘CITADEL’

LONDON: Actor Priyanka Chopra has finished shooting for her web series ‘Citadel’.

On Sunday, Priyanka took to Instagram and shared her experience working on the Russo Brothers’ project. “It’s a wrap on #CitadelPhew.. a whole year of doing the most intense work during the most intense time. It could not have been possible without this incredible lot of people. Some you see here some you don’t. It’s been hard but when you all see it.. it will be worth it! Onwards and upwards,” she wrote.

Priyanka also posted a string of images from the sets. One of the images showcases her bruised look. ‘Citadel’ is touted as an action-packed spy series. The ‘Game of Thrones’ star Richard Madden is also a part of it. The show will be out on Amazon Prime Video soon.

VIJAY VARMA ANNOUNCES WRAP OF HIS NEXT UNTITLED PROJECT

MUMBAI : Bollywood actor Vijay Varma on Saturday announced the wrap of his upcoming show, which has been directed by Sumit Saxena.

The ‘Gully Boy’ actor took to his Instagram handle and shared pictures from the wrap, featuring the entire team. In the caption, he wrote, “It’s a wrap! It’s been almost 100 days of immersive relentless work and we finally can enjoy our festive season. Praising the show’s team, Vijay added, “The toughest team shot one of the most intricate stories I came across. We will bring this to y’all soon. Cheers to the team. Yet untitled show.”

Vijay has a bunch of super interesting projects in the kitty, for which he has been shooting non-stop in places like Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. These include, ‘Darlings’ with his ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Alia Bhatt, ‘Fallen’ with Sonakshi Sinha and ‘Hurdang’ with Nushrratt Bharuccha and Sunny Kaushal besides this untitled project.

‘YUDHRA’: SIDDHANT TO SHOOT FILM’S NEXT SCHEDULE IN GUJARAT

NEW DELHI: Team ‘Yudhra’ starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles has headed to Kandla in Gujarat for the next shoot schedule of the film.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Siddhant shared a glimpse of him boarding the flight as he sets to jet off to the next shoot destination. Sharing the picture he wrote, “Team #Yudhra off to #Kandla.” He also shared a glimpse of the script reading session with the director and his co-star Malavika. Alongside the snap, he wrote, “Very excited for this one ;)”

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is touted as a romantic-action thriller. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment is producing it. The film is set to hit the theatres in 2022. Apart from ‘Yudhra’, Siddhant will be seen in ‘Phone Bhoot’, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter. The film, penned by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, marks the first-ever collaboration between the three actors. Siddhant will also be sharing screen space with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav in their upcoming film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’.

Bhumi shares glimpse of making of ‘Durgamati’

NEW DELHI: It’s been a year that Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Durgamati’ was released on Amazon Prime Video. Taking to social media, ‘the hero’ of the film, Padnekar, shared some behind-the-scenes visuals from the film sets.

Pednekar, who lifted the whole film on her shoulders as a leader took to her Instagram handle and shared some interesting behind-the-scenes (BTS) visuals from the shoot of the horror drama. “#one year of Durgamati,” she captioned the post with a string of folded hands emotions.

‘Durgamati’ which is a remake of the Anushka Shetty-starrer south film, Bhaagamathie marks Akshay Kumar’s second movie as a producer. He himself stated in an interview that the role of Chanchal, the IAS officer reminded him of Bhumi and hence she was chosen for it.

Helmed by Ashok G, presented by Akshay Kumar with Mahie Gill, Cape of Good Films and Arshad Warsi also being a part of it, bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Akshay Kumar the Abundantia Entertainment has been released on 11 December 2020, and is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

On seeing the huge excitement and anticipation of the audiences from ‘RRR’, Rajamouli opened up on his craft in the film, said, “Obviously a lot of people will be expecting the same kind of film after Baahubali. We can’t keep bringing the same film again and again. But the trick is, if you look deeply, they’re not looking for another Baahubali. They’re waiting for the kind of experience they had in the film. The kind of emotion they felt in the film. That’s what they want. But, they can’t tell you that. They don’t have that much of analysation to tell you that. So, they simply say we need another Baahubali. But what they actually want is the same kind of emotions and highs they got in the film.”
