In this context, the CITU union organized a 10-minute parking protest yesterday in over 700 locations across tamil Nadu.

It was attended by almost 25,000 people. The demonstration was led by CITU state president A. Saundarajan in Pallavansala, Chennai. A huge number of state executives, including K. Tiruchelvan, M. Chandran, and A. Krishnamurthy, were in attendance. "We thank all those who backed the CITU's demonstration," CITU General Secretary G. Sukumaran remarked. Protesters have been arrested in districts such as Vellore and Trichy.

The charges against them should be dropped and they should be released. Automobiles seized in coimbatore must be returned. "The federal government should take appropriate action to bring down the price of gasoline and diesel," he said. Protests at Kanchi, Sengai, and Tiruvallur were similar. In the end, there was a confusion whether the protest happened against central government or State government and it ended funnier way.
