Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared stunning pictures from their mehendi ceremony on Instagram today, much to the delight of their fans. The couple got married on December 9 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
For her mehendi, Katrina wore a gorgeous lehenga designed by celebrated fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her lehenga had splashes of vibrant colours and her choli was richly decorated with sequins and embroidery of several vibrant hues.
The perfect infusion of colour, texture and folk culture has been depicted on Katrina’s lehenga. She paired it with a sheer yellow organza dupatta embossed with floral embroidery and a thick embellished border of mirrorwork, zari and sequins.
The choli featuring a plunging neckline, has three-quarter sleeves in different colours of rust, green, maroon and mustard-yellow. There is intricate applique work in multicolour on the blouse with mirrorwork, motifs and zari apart from embroidery.
Vicky, on the other hand, was handsome in a kurta-pyjama paired with a sleeveless jacket featuring intricate floral embroidery in threadwork and zari.
