The next software update is not really far as the company has started rolling out the second Release Candidate or RC version of iOS 15.2. According to MacRumors, the latest beta version for both developers and public testers offers a bevy of improvements but is presently limited to iPhone 13 models only.
However, the iOS 15.2 RC version provides us a solid indication of what’s in store for end users when it’s released. The most recent beta version is available for download via the Apple Developer Center or over the air when the appropriate profile has been installed. Eligible public testers can also get the software from the Apple beta testing website.
According to the publication, the iOS 15.2 RC version includes the Apple Music Voice Plan, which was launched in October 2021. Essentially, it allows users to utilise Siri to access all songs and stations in Apple Music. In terms of privacy, users may obtain an App Privacy Report to check how frequently applications accessed personal data like location, photographs, and microphones in the last seven days.
There is a community safety setting for parents that notifies them when their children get photographs with nudity. Siri, Spotlight, and Safari Search will all gain a similar “guidance” function “to assist children and parents stay safe online and seek help with unsafe situations.”
iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max users will see a new camera setting called ‘Macro photo control,’ which will allow them to switch to the Ultra Wide lens to capture macro photos and videos. Users will be able to browse, buy, and rent movies and TV shows through a new one-stop Store tab in the TV app.
The iOS 15.2 RC version improves the mail app’s ‘hide my email’ tool and the find my feature for tracking down misplaced iPhones. Following the OS upgrade, users will be able to delete and rename tags in the Reminders and Notes applications.
