Imphal, December 11 2021: A training programme on mushroom cultivation organised by Rama Foundation was held at the residences of Ajay Sharma Wangkheimayum of Thongju Part-2 and Peter Wingamlungbo of Leimakhong Khunou Naga village under Kangpokpi district on December 9 and 10 respectively.

A release by Rama Foundation PRO Nonganba S said regional achiever awardee Soram Rajendra Kumar was the resource person in the event.

He delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial resources among others.

A field visit was also conducted as part of the training programme, added the release.

It also informed that RAMAF imparts such training programmes to interested individual, organisation, SHGs or farmers club and can be contacted at its office located at Nagamapal RIMS Road or contact at 8787734452 for more details.
