Jubilee celebrated, new bridge inaugurated

CCpur, December 11 2021: A silver jubilee celebration cum inauguration of polling station and OP Bridge constructed in Luihoihmuolcham village under Singhat (Singngat) assembly constituency was held with MLA GS Haupu in attendance.

The programme was also attended by Lakithang Gangte, director Lok Sabha Secretariat, S Thianlaljoy Gangte (MCS), Thangboi Gangte (MCS) and Suankhothang Gangte (IDAS) as guests of honour while special contractor Lienmang Gangte was the chief host.

Chief guest GS Haupu, while highlighting a number of development works implemented by him, thanked the village chief for using the Rs 28,00,000 allocated for the village for construction of the village's bridge.

He appreciated the village chief for keeping the village free from poppy cultivation thereby preserving the forest.

While highlighting all the development works undertaken by him in his assembly constituency, the MLA assured that if the people show such zeal in implementing development scheme sincerely, he will grant more funds and schemes for development of various villages.
