Claro Brasil appoints Alex Amorim as head of IT security

Alex Amorim, current president of the Brazilian Institute for Data Security, Protection and Privacy, has just taken over as head of IT security at Claro Brasil, according to Baguete. He joins from Yandeh, where he was Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Security Officer (CSO). In his nearly 20-year career, he has also worked for companies such as Cogna, Cielo, Conductor, Santander, TIM and Vivo.
