Bachelor contestant Alisha Aitken-Radburn has shared her delicious recipe for a mouthwatering festive baked brie wreath.

The wreath is the ultimate dish to bring along to a seasonal party or to whip up as a crowd-pleaser for any gathering through summer.

Alisha begins by cutting two sheets of puff pastry into circles and lays one sheet of pastry down onto onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.

The baked brie Christmas wreath is the ultimate dish to bring along to a seasonal party or to whip up when family or friends come over

Recipe for Alisha Aitken-Radburn's Baked Brie Christmas Wreath

Ingredients

One round of brie cheese
Green pesto
One handful of mozzarella cheese
Two sheets of puff pastry
Sesame seeds
One egg

Method

Cut two sheets of puff pastry into circles and lay one sheet of pastry down onto onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Place one round of brie cheese into the centre of the puff pastry sheet.
Spread pesto directly onto the puff pastry sheet and around the brie.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and crushed garlic onto the pesto and brie.
Lay the second sheet of puff pastry over the brie and press the sides together with a fork.
Slice around the brie and begin twisting the slices of pastry.
Whisk an egg and spread the beaten mixture onto of the pastry and twists.
Sprinkles sesame seeds onto the pastry and place the brie into the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
Cuts the pastry top off the brie and enjoy.

Next she places one round of brie cheese into the centre of the puff pastry sheet and spreads pesto directly onto sheet around the brie.

Then she sprinkles mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto spread and crushes garlic onto the brie cheese.

She then places the second sheet of puff pastry over the brie mixture and presses the pastry sides together with a fork.

Alisha makes slices around the brie and twists the slices, she then whisks an egg and spreads the beaten egg mixture on top of the pastry and twists.

Finally she sprinkles over sesame seeds, places the brie pastry into the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown, cuts the top off the brie and digs in.
