PI Industries shares decline 0.5% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Ltd. traded at Rs 2930.0 on BSE at 01:24PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.5 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1982.45 and a high of Rs 3533.3.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 14,116 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:24PM (IST).

The stock of PI Industries Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 44662.02 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 56.39, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.41. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.81 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 323 stocks traded in the green, while 177 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 46.74 per cent in the PI Industries Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 24.13 per cent and 17.23 per cent, respectively.
