Marico shares gain 0.27% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Ltd. traded at Rs 530.65 on BSE at 12:12PM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.27 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 379.05 and a high of Rs 606.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 57.6 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 9.22 per share and 16.38 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 8,717 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:12PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 68595.72 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 33.2 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 33.66 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 533.35 and Rs 525.65.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 59.44 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2021. FII and MF ownership in Marico Ltd. stood at 25.92 per cent and 2.73 per cent, respectively.
