NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:55AM

Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 9.85%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 5.20%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 2.12%), Balrampur Chini Mills(up 1.84%), Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(up 1.75%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 1.67%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 1.66%), Mawana Sugars(up 1.54%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 1.47%) and Rana Sugars(up 1.39%) were among the top gainers.

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(down 2.52%) and Ponni Sugars(Erode)(down 0.07%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 29.4 points down at 17440.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 92.6 points at 58557.08 at around 10:55AM.

Reliance Industries(up 1.58%), UPL Ltd(up 1.52%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.29%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.2%), Coal India(up 1.19%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.87%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.78%), Asian Paints(up 0.63%), Larsen & Toubro(up 0.63%) and ICICI Bank(up 0.49%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 1.71%), HDFC Bank(down 1.55%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.5%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.29%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.28%), SBI Life(down 1.09%), Nestle India(down 1.05%), Eicher Motors(down 1.02%), NTPC(down 0.98%) and HCL Technologies(down 0.91%) were trading in the red.
