Maharashtra: 45 BMW cars gutted in blaze at Turbhe godown

NAVI MUMBAI: As many as 45 BMW cars were gutted in a major fire which broke out at the godown of the luxury car company in Turbhe MIDC area on Tuesday evening.
Ten fire tenders from Vashi, Turbhe MIDC and Nerul were rushed to the spot. The fire fighting operation lasted for around six hours.
However, the 45 BMW cars parked at the godown were completely charred.
Prima facie, the cause of the fire is said to be short-circuit, informed an officer from Vashi fire station.
