Yes, I've read other threads on creatine, no, they don't quite relate perfectly.. Now that's out of the way, let's be productive with a few key bullet points:
- Monohydrate caused me "big time" hemorrhoids, per the ER doctor who had to stick his finger up my....
- I drink plenty of water, easily 1 gallon a day without a single thought
- Tried warm/hot water for better dissolving of the creatine
- Tried splitting creatine intake into 2 or 3 servings a day vs all in 1 serving
- Tried creatine HCL (not as bad colon problems, but felt far lower levels of benefits)
- Tried supplementing very high amounts of fiber, which helped a bit, but not enough (probiotics didn't do much either)
- Yes, I have cycled off of creatine to confirm it's the cause.... it's the cause
What other ideas could I try to alleviate the blockade creatine is causing my rear end? I love the workout boosts, mental focus & overall benefits of creatine, but definitely can't feel like I'm being Gaddafi'd every night.
